Are you Satisfied With The Park Services During Covid Period? To Be A Part In Improving The Services, Attend The Survey.

The Dublin City Council and DCU are hosting an online survey to evaluate the impact of Covid 19 restrictions on use of parks by the public in Dublin. This survey is intended to examine the future roles that parks in Dublin can do for its citizens in the period of pandemic and beyond.

The Irish Government had already imposed many restrictions inorder to reduce the spread of Covid 19. The parks in Dublin remained open during the Covid restrictions. Even though restrictions had made people feel bored, the parks played a very good role in making people positive. Thus the DCC wants to know the responses of the people on how parks influenced them in the period of pandemic.

The survey consists of a series of questions about the experience of people in parks within Dublin. They are trying to incorporate as many people as possible as they can find out the services, facilities and events that are provided. This survey is funded by the School of Nursing, Psychology and Community Health Publication Grant and Covid 19 Research Network seed funding grant.

The decision on taking part in the survey rests in the people itself. Personal information will not be gathered by anybody and the results of the study will be published through media, academic publications etc. There is no participation fee and if you feel your information is being misused, you can move against it legally. By clicking on ‘Submit your response’ at the end of the survey, the panel will be able to analyse your responses.

Dr. Carol Barron, Assistant professor, School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health, Dublin City University and Dr. Marcos Dias, Assistant professor, School of Communications, Dublin City University will constitute the investigators panel.
