The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 5,750 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Thursday 31 March, 5,089 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
It brings the combined total of Covid-19 cases reported today to 10,839.
As of 8 am today, 1,472 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 59 are in ICU.
