The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 4,033 PCR-confirmed cases of COVID-19. In addition, on Wednesday 3 March, 4,304 people registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
It brings the day’s cases to a combined total of 8,337.
As of 8 am today, 670 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 43 are in ICU.
