More medical aid for India as Northern Ireland sends oxygen generators and ventilators to tackle Covid 19

India is getting more and more medical aid from other countries and latest news reports that a cargo plan from Northern Ireland has left to India containing oxygen generators today. The three generators which are built in Northern Ireland can generate 500 litres of oxygen per minute. The shipment also contains 1000 ventilators too. This will be a huge help as far as India is concerned as they are trying hard to cope up with the devastating second surge of Covid 19.

It took 3 hours to load all the equipments on to the aircraft. The colossal oxygen generators were loaded through the tail portion while the ventilators were on-boarded through the nose. This operation is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. Foreign secretary Dominic Raab feels proud on this operation and said that UK and India will work together in defending this pandemic and once again remembered that “no one is safe until we all are safe”
