The HSE had opened its online vaccination portal for 69 year old people today. The portal had received more than 18,000 applications within hours from its commencement. In the first day 95% registered online while remaining 5% registered through phone. More than 9000 applications were received in the first hour.
Almost 250,000 people who are aged between 16 and 59 will be vaccinated at its centres by GPs and community vaccine teams.
People should provide their PPS Number, Eircode and email address. People who fail to present these information should register by phone.
