The Pop star Rihanna is officially declared a billionaire which makes her the ‘richest female musician’ all over the world. The 33-year-old started her career in 2003 and now has a net worth of 1.7 billion US dollars, according to the Forbes. She is only second to Oprah Winfrey in terms of ‘wealthiest female entertainers’ on the planet.
Though Rihanna is a popular star in music, her earnings are hugely as an entrepreneur, says the report. Majority of her fortune is from her hit cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty. Rihanna has a 50% share in the business. The other half of share is with LVMH, owned by the French business conglomerate Bernard Arnault. Another interesting fact is, Bernard Arnault is the third richest person in the world, just below Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Elon Musk of Tesla. Today LVMH is estimated to have a net value of 2.8 billion US dollars.
Rihanna is also in to the lingerie business owning the brand Savage x Fenty. She holds a share of 30% in the high-end fashion accessories company.
Apart from all these, what fans miss from her is music that she hasn’t released an album since Anti in 2016. But a new documentary “the past four years of Rihanna’s life” is all set to release on Amazon Prime, which follows her life and business career from 2016.
