SRJNA 2022-The Most Awaited Art & Craft Fair By DDAC

SRJNA means ‘to create’ and DDAC is celebrating the creations of talented artists through this art fair.

The most awaited art and craft fair, SRJNA 2022 to be held on May 14th, 2022 at the Park Community Centre.

SRJNA which is organized by the Dublin Desi Artists Collective (DDAC) is an exhibition of paintings and craftworks by talented artists.

Vidya, Ankita, and Malvika are the three great minds behind the team Dublin Desi Artists Collective. They formed the DDAC in 2020 in order to showcase the artistic talents of people of Indian origin living in Dublin. They have organized a number of exhibitions both online and otherwise in order to encourage the artistic talents of both children and adults.

DDAC had hosted RANG and SAMETAH in 2021, which had received great responses from artists and the audience alike. They had also organized an art competition during Holi celebrations in March 2022 for children below 18 years of age.

SRJNA is the latest art exhibition by the DDAC.

An exhibition of paintings and craftworks, SRJNA, will be held on 14th May 2022 at the Park Community Centre, Firhouse from 3 pm to 8 pm. The entry is free for all.

This art fair organized by the DDAC is for encouraging Indian artists in Ireland.

“On spot children’s art competition, live henna stalls, paintings, pottery, caricature, delicious Indian food and on goes the exciting list lined up for SRJNA 2022.”

The team of DDAC has selected 14 junior artists (children under the age of 18) and 12 senior artists, for the exhibition at SRJNA 2022, hand-picked from a large number of entries.

There will also be an on-spot children’s art competition which is a live art competition for children of age 7 and above. The registrations for this event have been closed.

SRJNA 2022 will be an exciting event with not just paintings and exhibitions but also with a Henna artist to adorn your palms with beautiful Henna/Mehendi. There will also be food stalls with your favorite mouth-watering Indian foods.
