A man was taken to the hospital following a knife attack in Cork city center last night.
Gardaí and Emergency Services were attended to the scene in an apartment building on John Redmond Street shortly before 9pm.
According to the gardaí, the teenager had suffered multiple stab wounds. He was taken from the scene by ambulance to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
The scene has been preserved for forensic examination by gardaí, and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made yet.
