Please be alert to scam calls and texts seeking your personal information-
Many are receiving a call from an 083 mobile number, claiming to be from Social Protection; other calls claim to be from Revenue or from your Bank.If you receive such a call or text and something doesn’t feel right, please don’t engage and don’t share your PPS number, bank details or any of your other personal info. If you have already given personal information on one of these calls and are concerned, contact your local An Garda Síochána
