The popular money transfer service company TransferWise has changed its name only to Wise. The company which started its operation in 2011 has made the name change public through a press release yesterday.
The company offered only money transfer in the initial stages upon its establishment and later started the facility of cross-border payment. Today around 4.5 billion pounds are being transferred as cross-border through the service.
Along with the change in the name, Wise is offering more services to customers and business groups. One among them is international money transfer of 55 currencies around the globe. Also real account numbers will be given to the transfer of 10 selected currencies.
The next big move is setting up business accounts for customers which includes personal account, bank feeds, mass payouts and multi-user access. Also Wise is offering a cheap and easy way of banking to companies under the name Wise Platform. Through Wise Platform companies can use the infrastructure of Wise and aid their customers to do banking with Wises’s advanced and easy go service.
