Weather in Ireland: Temperatures expected to reach 26 degrees next week

As the warm weather is expected to begin on Sunday, Met Éireann predicts that temperatures might reach up to 26 degrees next week.

Over much of Ulster, Sunday morning will be cloudy, with patchy light rain.

With the exception of a few light passing showers that are widely dispersed, it is predicted to be mainly dry and brighter elsewhere.

The weather on Sunday night will be dry with long periods of overnight clarity and some mist or fog patches forming in mild breezes. Minimum temperatures range from 8 to 11 degrees.

Generally dry and sunny conditions are predicted for Monday. In the west and north of the nation, a few brief light showers are possible.

Maximum temperatures will range from 19 to 23 degrees in a moderate southwest or variable breezes.

Tuesday will be a mostly dry day with long spells of sunshine and just the small chance of a few light showers in Connacht and Ulster.

After Wednesday, high pressure is predicted to stay near to Ireland, bringing mainly dry weather with sunny breaks, according to Met Éireann.
