Met Eireann issued a yellow warning for 23 counties in Ireland following fear over thunderstorm and heavy rain. Connacht, Ulster, north Leinster and north Munster will see heavy thundery spells and localised flooding can be expected, said Met Office. Driving conditions will turn out bad and flooding will be affected in places like Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary too. The yellow warning is in effect from 9am today till 9am tomorrow.

The raining will continue over the night across Atlantic counties. The highest temperature would be between 12 to 15 degrees.
