Following an attack and public order incident in St Stephen’s Green north overnight, two males were admitted to the hospital and ten were taken into custody.
During the early hours of today morning, gardai responded to the site and detained 10 individuals, who were then brought to a few garda stations in Dublin’s city centre.
Under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act of 1984, two of these guys are being held at Pearse Street Garda Station at the moment.
Two men were taken to St James’ Hospital for treatment following the incident. Their injuries are described as non-life threatening.
A garda spokesman said that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
