1,940 further cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Ireland today. After showing decline for some days, the disease is once again spreading among the people. Yesterday there was 2,002 Covid cases reported in the country.
As of 8 am today, there were 352 patients in the hospitals due to Covid and 74 of them were in Intensive Care Units.
HSE has confirmed that 31 deaths of past week were due to Covid, which makes the total deaths toll 5,280 in the country so far.
