A social media campaign had started which asks for restaurants and cafes to reopen on July 2nd by breaching the Covid 19 restrictions. Hotels and guesthouses are allowed to open on 2nd of July and restaurants and cafes plan to breach as a protest. No indoor dining is allowed yet in the country.
A group of restaurants and cafes tries to put pressure on the government to lift all restrictions in hospitality sector including pubs by July 2nd. The group and their campaign is not affiliated to the Restaurant Association of Ireland who had already questioned the decision of the government on reopening the hotels only.
