The Taliban in Afghanistan beheaded a woman volleyball player earlier this month, her coach said. Mahjabin Hakimi was a member of Afghan junior women’s national volleyball team. She was also a star player for Kabul Municipality Volleyball Club before the collapse of the Ashraf Ghani government.
According to the coach, Hakimi was beheaded by the Taliban terrorists and the assailants threatened her family not to talk about it.
Some days ago a photo of Hakimi, what seemed to be her severed head and bloodied neck turned up on social media.
Weeks ago, the Taliban had also killed a woman police officer who was pregnant. The terrorists shot her in front of the family, the reports said.
