Aldi to add more job opportunities in Cork

A second development of Aldi Stores in Cork provides more job opportunities for people in the city. Aldi Ireland have announced that they will open up almost 30 new permanent jobs related to the second development in the area. Their new project on Skehard Road comes up with 50 jobs during its construction.

Aldi have submitted the planning application to the Cork City Council and if the 1,336sqm plan is approved, the store will be launched in 2024. The constitution is planned according to a Project Fresh design which is more eco friendly. Roof top solar panels will be the main source of electricity.

Aldi Ireland’s regional general manager Colin Breslin said that the premises will have 28 residential units and a café which will be constructed by Lyonshall Ltd.
