An astronaut from NASA has shared the photo of Dublin city viewed from an International Space Station. The photo was taken from the Endeavour window on the Space Station by Shane Kimbrough while it was passing above the Irish sky.
“One of my favourite cities – Dublin, Ireland! Look forward to seeing all of my friends there next year. Slàinte!” Kimbrough wrote on Twitter along with the photo. Dublin can be seen all lit up at night with a spectacular view in the photo.
The 54-year-old Kimbrough is part of Expedition 65 crew, which began its mission in April 2021. He was an officer in the US military prior to joining the NASA project. The mission end later this month and the crew will return Earth.
