Body of late Irish Indian-origin resident Joseph James to lie in state today; Funeral tomorrow

The body of Joseph James (Abby Vattaparambil), a member of the Irish Indian-origin community, will lie in state today, January 2, for public viewing. Family, friends, and community members are invited to pay their respects at Larry Massey Funeral Home, Ballyfermot Road, Cherry Orchard, Dublin 10 (D10 DT80), from 2pm to 5pm.

The funeral service will take place tomorrow, January 3, beginning at 11am with a Holy Mass at Divine Mercy Church, Balgaddy, Lucan, County Dublin (K78 NH05). Following the Mass, burial will take place at Esker Lawn Cemetery (Eircode: K78 E9T7).

For those unable to attend in person, the funeral Mass will be livestreamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/live/Ll5mpg7w4Dg?si=kjVK22yn03-h_OFr, allowing family and friends from Ireland and abroad to participate in the service.
