100 dollars bonus offered to vaccinated jobseekers as Amazon looks to hire 75,000 people across US. They are looking for warehouse and delivery staffs who pack and ship online orders. 15 dollars were paid by Amazon for an employee per hour but it raised to 17 dollars per hour for new employees.
Amazon is facing a worker shortage as some fear they may be infected with corona virus, some have issues at home and some step back due to lack of enough payment. Pay hikes have been announced by McDonald’s, Chipotle and many other countries to get their workers back.
Amazon also announced an extra 1000 dollar sign on bonus to attract new workers from all parts of the country. The job openings are mainly at Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, Tennessee and Wisconsin.
