After a two-year break the award-winning and hugely popular, Ireland’s biggest air festival Bray Air Display returns this July. And it will be back bigger and better than ever with an incredible lineup including none other than the world-famous Red Arrows.
The free, family event is one of the most popular air shows in Europe and Ireland’s biggest air festival, attracting thousands to the Co. Wicklow seaside town to marvel at amazing aerobatics.
This year’s event will see the Bray Air Display team up with the Irish Air Corps who are celebrating 100 years of Irish military aviation.
Sé Pardy, Bray Air Display Director said, “We are delighted to announce that the 15th Bray Air Display will be back this summer. The 2022 event will be bigger and better than ever – we are thrilled that the masters of the sky, the Red Arrows will be back with us again this year. They always put on a spectacular display so this summer’s event really will be one to look forward to.”
The 15th annual Bray Air Display will take place on Sunday 24th July 2022. One of Europe’s biggest and best air shows, Bray Air Display attracts thousands of people to the Co. Wicklow coastal town for the annual event. BrayAirDisplay takes place thanks to the support of Wicklow County Council and Bray. ie.
Bray Air Display was recognised as ‘Best Festival / Event Experience over 50,000 people’ at the prestigious, national Irish Tourism Industry Awards 2017, and in 2018 and 2019 it won silver in the ‘Best Tourism Initiative’ category at the All-Ireland Community and Council Awards.
