Cork man sentenced for 3 years and disqualified for 20 years after drink driving

A Cork man has been disqualified from driving for 20 years and got a prison sentence for 3 years after drink driving. Cork Circuit Criminal Court heard that the man had been driving dangerously after consuming alcohol and caused serious harm in four places. The 30 year old convict namely Daniel Culhane from Owenahincha, Rosscarbery was charged with 10 offenses including dangerous driving, threatening to kill a man and theft.

A video of convict’s dangerous driving, recorded from a car from behind was produced as evidence in the court. Daniel Culhane had been convicted for 53 offenses including theft and drunken drive before. Judge Seán Ó Donnabháin sentenced him originally for 4 years but suspended one year. He will also be disqualified from driving for 20 years.
