Criticism keeps on showering as HSE paid €12.5m to a recruitment company for getting more vaccinators

The decision of HSE to pay €12.5 to CPL, a recruitment company has been rated wrong by Louise O’Reilly, the spokesperson of Sinn Fein’s employment wing. The company provided agents as vaccinators and testing and tracing workers. The HSE explained that they adopted this way in order to facilitate their working and deal with the pandemic.

Louise O’Reilly said that HSE should have looked into their department well to know the resources they already have. Repurposing the staff would have been a greater strategy which provides more experienced personnel other than agency staffs.

The HSE, through this act had openly accepted that they are lacking people with expertise in these areas which is a very bad mark from their perspective.
