Following an accident on the busy motorway, there are significant delays on the M1 southbound.
The collision happened way between Junction 4 Donabate and Junction 5 Balbriggan. There are considerable tailbacks from the incident.
M50 Dublin tweeted: “M1: collision inbound between J5 Balbriggan South and J4 Donabate. Emergency services are en route. Traffic is building on approach.”
There was a crash on the M3/N3 between Junction 3 Clonsilla and Junction 2 Blanchardstown. The incident has since been cleared up.
TII Traffic said: “Incident cleared: Collision on M3/N3 between J03 – CLONSILLA and J02 – BLANCHARDSTOWN (South) Lanes Affected: Bus Lane.”
The M50 is moving relatively well apart from some congestion around the Tallaght exit on the Southbound lanes. There are also delays on the usual city centre routes.
In particular, the north quays, Church Street and the roads along the Grand Canal are congested.
