FSAI recalls the product by Dunnes Stores after detecting the presence of Barley which could cause allergies to many.
The product recalled is My Family Favourites Sliced Beetroot in Malt Vinegar. Barley is not declared in the ingredients list published on the packets. The product contains gluten less than 20ppm which is suitable for coeliacs and this maybe unsafe for consumers who are intolerant of barley.
All batch codes are recalled by the authorities in all best before date categories with a pack size of 670g.
