H&MV Engineering to create 700 new jobs as it opens Limerick base

H&MV Engineering, working in the energy market, is opening a new global headquarters in Limerick and will create 700 jobs in its Irish and international operations over the next five years.

With 5GW of projects presently in the design and construction phases, H&MV Engineering, a design firm that specialised in projects like data centres, claims that its expansion is a reaction to a growing market demand.

The company, which was established in 1997, now maintains offices in Dublin, Cork, and Thurles in addition to regional offices abroad in the UK, continental Europe, and India.

In the next five years, the firm will spearhead a global growth from its new international headquarters in Castletroy, Limerick, which offers specialised design, engineering, and construction services for the energy sector.

A total of 700 new jobs will be created as a result of this development, with 350 staff members already employed at the Limerick location.

H&MV Engineering already employs 700 people at its various bases in Ireland, the UK, continental Europe and India.

At Castletroy, brand-new custom corporate offices will be 36,000 square feet in size and have engineering virtual reality facilities in addition to relaxation areas, a games room, and a gym.

“This new office will serve as a major centre for key roles across all areas of the business,” the company said in a statement.

Recruitment for the new positions is already under way.
