Key Responsibilities

One or more of the following duties may be assigned to the employee and may be in any department of the service:

  • Chart Organisation for Clinics
  • Retrieval and portering of charts to and from Medical Records/Other Departments
  • General communication with service user i.e directions, information re clinics etc
  • Transporting and returning patients from OPD to other Departments for clinical testing e.g. radiology, phlebotomy
  • Transporting patients for admission from OPD to wards
  • Assist patients into consulting rooms
  • Transport patients to toilet facility if required
  • Communicate with medical records via telephone re chart queries

Essential Criteria

Eligible candidates will be those who on the closing date for the competition

  • Possess the relevant QQI Further Education and Training (FET) Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills.

or

  • FETAC Level 5 Certificate in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support.

or

  • Be willing to undertake a QQI/FET Level 5 programme in Health Service skills or equivalent.

The Airport Search Unit (ASU) Officer is part of the security team at Dublin Airport. The primary responsibility of an ASU Officer is to ensure the secure, and efficient movement of passengers through the security process at Dublin Airport in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and in a manner that enhances the customer’s experience.

Skills Required

  • Willingness to work in a shift environment where flexibility is required for changing passenger demand
  • Willingness to work a variety of shift patterns that include night duties, bank holidays and early morning starts (e.g. 04.00)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
