IND vs SL 3rd T20: Suryakumar Yadav’s sublime century helps India clinch the series 2-1

Suryakumar Yadav scored an aggressive hundred as India defeated Sri Lanka by 91 runs in the final T20I on Saturday, winning the three-match series 2-1.
Suryakumar Yadav, who took full control of India’s batting against Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka in the third T20I at Rajkot on Saturday, smashed his third T20I century to help India post a massive total of 228/5 in 20 overs. Suryakumar scored an unbeaten 112 runs in 51 balls.

India lost Ishan Kishan (1) early but the likes of Shubman Gill (46), Rahul Tripathi (35), and Suryakmar propped up the hosts with a barrage of big hits at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. In reply, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 137 in 16.4 overs.

Pacer Arshdeep bagged three wickets while spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (2) shared four wickets with speedster Umran Malik (2) as Sri Lanka folded for 137 in 16.4 overs. Under the captaincy of all-rounder Pandya, India defeated Sri Lanka by a score of 91 runs to win the series 2-1 in Rajkot.
