Indian-origin Ayaansh Mulukutla is representing Ireland in the FIDE World Cadets Chess Championships 2022 – Open in the under-8 category in Batumi, Georgia.
The Georgian Chess Federation, Georgian Chess Club “64,” and FIDE are organising the FIDE World Cadets Chess Championships 2022, which is scheduled for September 15-28 2022, in Batumi.
The championships are in three age groups—under 8, 10, and 12—and two sections—open and girls—for a total of six tournaments.
All the competitions will be 11-round Swiss tournaments with a time control of 90 minutes for each player plus 30 seconds per move starting from move one. The default time is 15 minutes.
