Indian-origin girl, Dia has been selected for Ireland’s Under-15 national cricket team for the Ireland Junior Cricket Program at the Malvern College Festival.
Dia, the daughter of Shyam, a member of the Finglas club, is preparing to play for Ireland’s national cricket team.
The Ireland junior cricket programme has finally resumed in light of the decreased threat of Covid, which caused the suspension of the Ireland junior tour programme in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
From August 3 to 7, the girls from the Ireland Under-15 team, including Dia, will compete against their peers from other county teams at the Malvern College Festival.
