Indian poet Aswathy Plackal to perform at art event conducted by Indian Embassy in Ireland

Aswathy Plackal, an Indian expat in Ireland and young poet will be presenting her work in the upcoming art event conducted by Indian Embassy in Ireland in collaboration with Embassy of Ireland. The event titled ‘Macedoine: The Irish Indian Medley’ is felicitated by The Narrators Performing Arts Society and Bunnacurry Poets.

Aswathy’s first poetry titled ‘Scattered Innocence’ had been published earlier this year and receieved wide critical acclaim. Aswarhy is a nurse in Dublin and living in Ireland for the last 12 years.

She will be the chief guest and performer in the event to take place on 30th and 31st of October from 4.30pm to 7pm.

The event aims to nurture books, poetry, theatre and art in the culture along with the performances of talented artists.
