Sujal’s Cherian’s life happily centred around his shop and home for the longest time, until one fine day everything hanged and stalled as the unprecedented pandemic hit the entire world.  Sujal, an expat in Ireland from India working at the local Tesco shop has been living in Tyrrelstown like any other normal person in the country with a five week-day job.

He didn’t realize what he was missing until the whole country went into lockdown and Sujal had to find ways to keep himself busy. Though he was still working at the shop, he was unable to find anything interesting besides his working hours, especially on holidays. On one of these days, he just realized an urge to do something new and creative, something that reflects his hidden talents and could entice the visitors.

He stumbled upon this bright idea of transforming his garden into something new and creative, and the very next day, he picked up his equipment and started the work on his garden. It resulted in the creation of something that seems impossible for a guy with a graduation in management studies- An absolutely gorgeous and innovative garden!

Sujal was fully dedicated to transforming the garden and he knew his creative juices would help him bring out a new look to the entire area. Complete with garden stones, walking space, artistic walls and green meadows., his garden looked very professional. He also built an aquarium inside the garden. It was so transformed that it gave off the feel of a garden right out of a posh 5-star hotel!

In transforming that space into this heavenly peaceful green garden, Sujal had no outside help. He purchased each and every item required for the set-up from the local stores at Tyrrelstown, but he was always motivated to do all the difficult tasks because of two things: talent and willpower.

He has added a personal touch, and the garden is now an eye candy for family and friends. Everyone who steps into this garden is amazed at how Sujal could lend such a professional touch, right from painting the wall with the right colours to the fountain where beautiful fishes swim along the gurgling waters.

Sujal is proud of what he has achieved in such a short span of time and by transforming this part of his home.

Sujal lives with his wife Mary Joseph, a nursing manager at Coombe Hospital.

The couple have a son Evan, studying in junior cert and a daughter Nathania in first standard.
