GMarshtv is looking for enthusiastic kids aged between 6 and 11 to take part in an outdoor adventure series for RTE Junior. Group of 3 kids are invited. The kids may be from the same family or the extended family.
Bush Kids presenter will accompany the children and make them camp in the woods and they can learn how to survive there. Children can get a better understanding on the weather, building shelters, cooking and finding food and lighting fire. Children have to collect firewood, make latrines etc. They can bath in the streams, sleep under the stars and can have fun time with others.
A parent or guardian should accompany the children. The children will spend 3 days and 2 nights in the woods and each group can take different habitats including forests, beaches, islands, rivers etc. Filming of the program goes on simultaneously. The parents cannot be a part in the filming process. They can help their children if needed.
Covid rules will be followed strictly in order to ensure the safety of children and a strict child protection policy will also be followed.
The last date to submit the application is 14th May before 12 noon.
Interested candidates must send a 2-3 minute self introduction video and reason to participate in Bush Kids. A video showing the outdoor activities of children and explaining it will be very acceptable. Send a group photo of all three together along with their names, age and address.
