Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning for the early hours of Monday morning.
The fog warning is for the entire country and is in effect from 1am today. The warning will be in place until 11am.
“Mist and fog will form again tonight, becoming dense, especially in some midland areas, leading to poor visibility.” Met Eireann said is a statement.
The drivers are advised to take extra care as the bad weather may affect visibility. Conditions will be particularly bad in midlands.
After the fog, the day is expected to be clearer and the temperature will hit a maximum of 15 degrees.
