Health minister Stephen Donelly said that the ministry is planning to add more countries into the mandatory quarantine list as many countries are getting worse in terms of number Covid 19 patients. Even though there are oppositions from Fine Gael members, minister is all set to proceed his will.
As per the reports, France may be a country which could be added to the list. Stephen Donelly, with the virtue of his position, has the legal right to add more countries and the only grant he needs is the support of the Attorney General.
There is a need of restricting the influx of people from abroad with the vaccine rollout and coming of summer. Deputy chief medical officer Dr. Ronan Glynn is advised by experts to include Poland and Netherlands to the list.
