The Cabinet had approved the scheme that quarantine hotels will be indemnified from any legal actions by people who are affected by Covid 19.
Health Minister Stephen Donelly framed the idea in the Cabinet that the State will help the hotels and personnel working on the risky sites which stays apart from their normal business schedule. The state will handle all other expenditure on Covid 19 but the hotels should use their own insurance for their own incidents.
The scheme also covers nurses, doctors and health professionals and indemnifies them even though they perform something faulty in providing vaccines. President Michael Higgins had already signed a legislation into a law which mandatorily puts people who come back after a foreign trip into a 14 day quarantine. The scheme will be successfully implemented within weeks.
