T20 World Cup: Ireland in decision making match against Sri Lanka today; Chose to bowl

Ireland faces one of the strongest teams in the world Sri Lanka in today’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2021 qualifier match in the A Group. Both the teams have one point each after winning first match against Netherlands and Namibia respectively in Dubai.

If Ireland wins today, it will be the team’s golden chance to enter into the Super 12s. If loses, Ireland has to win the remaining match against Namibia and to wait for the result of others. Two teams from Group A and group B will march to the Super 12s where Scotland has almost secured their birth from Group B.

As per the latest update Ireland won the toss and chose to bowl. The bowlers are doing better as Sri Lanka lost 3 wickets already after 12 overs. They now stand at 95 for 3.
