The Food Safety Authority of Ireland had issued an urgent warning on undeclared egg content in a Tesco product. It was a packaging mistake where Tesco Tzatziki batch was packed with Tesco Sour Cream and Chive. The latter product former product contains egg content but because of confusions in packing, it was not labelled on the packet.
FSAI had already alerted the public and the storekeepers on this issue as this may cause many allergy problems to allergen vulnerable people. The mis-packaged batch expires on April 12, 2021 and size is 200g.
