TikTok is set to lay off up to 300 workers, or 10 per cent of its workforce, at its Dublin base, which employs 3,000 people, Irish Independent reported.

The Irish government has been notified of the decision, with redundancies expected to take place in April, according to Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, Peter Burke.
A TikTok spokesperson declined to comment further, citing an ongoing process.
Last month, the company informed staff that cuts were imminent, with the trust and safety divisions expected to be the most impacted.
