Two men arrested by gardaí following discovery of €220,000 of cocaine and tablets in Dublin

Two men were arrested by gardaí yesterday, after cocaine and tablets worth €220,000 were seized in North Dublin.

a garda spokesperson said, “As part of ongoing investigations into the local sale and distribution of controlled drugs, Gardaí from Blanchardstown searched premises in the Mountview area of Dublin 15 shortly after 4 pm on Friday,”.

The two men were taken to Blanchardstown Garda Station and are being held under the Drugs Trafficking Act.

They are both currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act, 1996. They can be held for up to seven days.
