Two men have been arrested with fire arm in Finglas, Dublin. The arrest was following a routine check-up by Gardai at N2 in M50 on Wednesday.
The men aged 20 and 33 were arrested with possession of firearm and were taken to Garda station.
The gardai have also discovered an abandoned black Volkswagen Golf car near the area and appeal any witnesses to come forward. If you have seen the car at the N2 between 11.45 and 12.15 day time on Wednesday, please contact Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 11 or any Garda station.
