The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued an urgent recall of certain food supplements.
United Drug Wholesale is recalling a batch of Fortified Immunity Selenium food supplements due to distribution past the product’s expiry date.
Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.
The implicated batch includes L20235 with an expiry date of 30 Sep 2022.
The Food Safety Authority also recalled a batch of Golden Lily Dried Kelp Seaweed due to an elevated level of iodine.
Consumption of high amounts of iodine can affect thyroid function.
