Walk-in vaccination centres open across the country; HSE urges all aged 12 and above avail inoculation

HSE’s walk-in Covid vaccination centres will be operational across the country this weekend. Anyone aged 12 and above can approach the centres directly and avail vaccine. For those who aged 12-15 will need parental consent.

The centres will provide both first and second doses without prior appointment. Both the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines are available from the clinics. People attending for a second Pfizer jab must have received their first Pfizer vaccine at least 21 days beforehand. Those attending for a second Moderna shot must have received their first Moderna vaccine at least 28 days previously.

People attending the centres should have the following documents:

  • Personal Public Service (PPS) number – if you have one
  • Eircode
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Photo ID that has your date of birth – this can be a passport, driving licence, Garda age card, school ID

If you have already registered with the HSE portal, you need to bring only a photo ID proof that shows your date of birth.
