Irish animation film Wolfwalkers has been nominated to the Oscar Awards in the animated film category. It’s the story of a young hunter and her father who travel to Ireland to kill the last wolf pack.
One of the directors, Ross Stewart, said that it’s bit of a relief for them and all people who had their fingers crossed. They sees this nomination as the greatest appreciation their film would have got. He also acknowledged the love and support from the Irish people too.
Wolfwalkers will compete with Onward, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Soul and Over the Moon in the category.
