A woman in her 30s has died following a single-car crash in Lahinch, Co Clare.
Gardaí said the woman was a passenger in the only car involved in the collision, in Lahinch at around 6:40 pm yesterday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
They said no other serious injuries were reported.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and taken to Ennis Garda Station.
The scene was preserved for a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses, and for road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were traveling in the area at the time to make this footage available to them.
