Woman arrested following suspected hit-and-run in Limerick

A woman has been arrested following suspected hit-and-run case in Limerick. Four people were injured after a car hit them around 1am on Sunday.

The woman aged 20s was arrested today in connection with the incident and currently under detention at Henry Street Garda station.

Three women and one man had suffered injuries from the hit. According to the reports, the man is in critical condition. The car just fed the scene without stopping.

The injured are now being treated at the University Hospital Limerick.

The vehicle was later located abandoned at a short distance. Meanwhile the Garda have not confirmed the offender is the arrested woman and she is being questioned for now.
