Indian-Origin Nurse Dies Following Childbirth at Cork University Hospital

Steffi Ouseph, an Indian-origin nurse from Wayanad, Kerala, passed away in Ireland after giving birth. Steffi, who lived in Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, and worked at Kerry University Hospital, was admitted to Cork University Hospital for childbirth. She succumbed to a sudden illness after the delivery.

Steffi’s husband, Baiju Skaria, originally hails from Sultan Bathery in Wayanad. Fortunately, the newborn baby is in good health.

The Kerry Indian Association extends its deepest condolences to Steffi’s family and friends during this difficult time. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
