Social Space Ireland or SSI organized Diwali celebrations this Saturday, 5th November 2022 at St. Brigid’s Parish Center, Stillorgan, Dublin.

Senator Barry Ward, DLR County Council representative Mary White, Detective Superintendent Brian OKeeffe, and Pat Finnerty, park-in-charge were some of the dignitaries that attended this Diwali celebration organized by the SSI.
Around 250-300 people attended the Diwali celebrations organized by the SSI in association with the DLR county council.
The cultural programs conducted during the Diwali celebrations were filled with mesmerizing dance movements. “The participating children were helped in their training for all performances by the volunteers of SSI. This helped to improve their confidence and coordination in their performances,” one of the organizers said.
Indian food lovers were in for a treat with delicious cuisine by Royal Catering at reasonable prices. Stalls with Indian wear and beautiful accessories were also a highlight of the event. “Everyone who attended the Diwali celebrations was excited by the programs and in no time was on the floor dancing along to the beats.” said the organizers.
The sparklers at the end of the event were exciting to both children and adults to celebrate the essence of Diwali.
