€200m apartment project at Carrickmines in Dublin has been approved by An Bord Pleanala. Bowbeck DAC puts the proposal infront of the An Bord Pleanala which comprises 229 two bed apartments, 183 one bedroom units, 31 studio units and 39 three bedroom apartments.
Planners from Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County had put pressure on An Bord Pleanala for not approving the planning permission in Dublin but the decision was in favour of Bowbeck DAC. The scheme was accepted on its design, scale, height and massing.
Bowbeck DAC’s planning consultant Mr John Spain said that the construction of the proposed building will provide high quality residential units to the county which is under utilized residential area even though there are many constrains in the very sensitive area.
