A Webinar will be hosted by the Indian Embassy Dublin on March 8 to mark International Women’s Day.

The webinar organized by the Indian Embassy Dublin on the occasion of International Women’s Day will be held on March 8.

The first session will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on the Progressive Role of Women in Sustaining Societies. The session will be moderated by Indian Ambassador Sandeep Kumar. Prof Jane Ohlmeyer, Professor of Modern History, Trinity College; Cauvery Madhavan, Author, Dr. Rita Faria, Medical Doctor and first Indian – Asian Miss World, 1966 and Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Hon. CG of Ireland in Bengaluru will speak in the gathering.

The second session, which will be held from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, will focus on Building Opportunity out of Challenges in Post-Covid Women’s Perspectives.Asst Prof. Jivanta Schottli, Director of the Ireland India Institute at Dublin City University and a lecturer in Indian Politics and Foreign Policy, will lead the discussion. Dublin West Councilor Poonam Rane, Rita Shah of Shabra Plastics and Recycling Ltd., Monaghan,Prof. Kathleen Chakraborty, Professor of Art History, University College Dublin and Yvonne Corcoran Loftus curator of Michael Davitt Museum will address the people
